"I was once crushing on this one boy, and a bunch of our mutual friends were hanging out over the weekend. I felt like he liked me back but I was too shy to ask him out, so I had one of my best friends go do it for me. It turned out that he actually liked my best friend, and when she asked him if he wanted to go out with me, he asked her out instead! To top it all off, she said yes! From now on, I’m keeping my friends close but my enemies closer!"
