Why me for January 2008

One day at lunch my crush came to sit at our table with my friends and I. One of my friends, who has a habit of saying the first thing that pops into her head, blurted out to him, “You two (pointing to me and him) should go out. She was like obsessed with you all last year and she still likes you!” A few seconds of awkward silence later, he got up and walked away. I was so embarrassed!
