Juno (Oscar nominee Ellen Page) is wonderfully, refreshingly, not like other girls in her high school. She dresses differently, has a weird, but endearing stepmom, talks on a hamburger phone, hangs with her cheerleader best friend and adorkable would-be boyfriend Paulie (Superbad star Michael Cera) and makes one whopper of a mistake: she gets pregnant. And while the movie certainly doesn't celebrate the situation Juno finds herself in, it also doesn't doom the character to an unhappy life, either. She faces her predicament head on, sometimes with more maturity than the adults around her, and ultimately has to make some very adult choices herself. Cliches aside, you'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll fall in love with almost every person in the movie, which is no small achievement for a sweet little movie.
