Ashley has teamed up with Degree Girl deodorant to share her most
embarrassing and exciting "OMG" moments with the world through video blogs on their site, .www.degreegirl.com. We chatted with the HSM star about what puts an experience in the OMG category for her and what's happening with a little movie called High School Musical 3.
TEEN: How did you get involved with "Degree Girl?"
A.T.: Degree actually came to me and asked me if I wanted to be a part of their campaign and I thought it was just really exciting and important, obviously to my fans, and growing up I had tons of OMG moments. I get to share my own moments through video blogs. I just always feel that you need Degree deodorant when you have those moments whether they are embarrassing or whatever, but everyday you should be protected. I wish that maybe I had a type of celebrity to look up to when I was young telling me what to use and stuff.
TEEN: What makes a moment "OMG" to you?
A.T.: Any really exciting moment from having the cute guy at school wink at you to even embarrassing moments. I think that, obviously, something that makes you nervous, thats an "OMG" moment, like if you're at school and you need to make a speech. An OMG of mine would probably be speaking on stage and performing in front of thousands of people! Im always up for challenge in everything I do but I definitely get nervous then!
TEEN: What's an OMG moment you have had recently?
A.T.: I have to say I was shopping and there was tons of paparazzi at Kitson, and theres obviously always paparazzi there, and when I came out there were about 30-40 different paparazzi. My heart started racing. I had two guys
helping me get to the car, but it's just like insane and so that was an OMG
nervous, get me out of here moment.
