My (SO) Bad July 20, 2007

Once, my friend Jackie and I got bored. We decided to look up this nerdy guy, Brenden in the phonebook from third grade and prank him. First, we called our other friend Laura and pretended to be Brenden. But she caught us.

After that we called Brenden, and Jackie pretended she was Joe, someone from third grade that was actually nice to Brenden. Then I called, pretending to be Laura. Brenden's mom said, "Oh, Joe called not long ago. Do you have something to do with that?" I (still pretending to be Laura) said no, and gave her Laura's number to call later. Brenden called Laura, and Laura hung up the phone right after he said, "Hi, this is Brenden." He called back three more times, and on the fourth time, it was his mother. She said, "Laura, I know that girls can get shy when they are talking around boys." Laura was really confused. She told his mom she thought it was Jackie and Cara that called each of the three times. Laura gave his mom my phone number. Then, his mom called. I answered, and Brenden's mom gave me a long lecture about why not to prank someone. She was furious! She told me if I pranked him again, she would call the police. I was shaking, while Jackie, sitting next to me, was laughing her head off. I haven’t pranked anyone since.
