Not so "best" friend...

Last summer my best friend's boyfriend asked me to go to the beach with him. I had already made plans with my best friend to go shopping but since I'd had a massive crush on the guy forever, I told my best friend that I had made plans with my mom, and couldn't go to the mall with her.

While at the beach with him, the boy confessed that he liked me too! He broke it off with his girlfriend/my best friend for me and we ended up dating! I guess you could say that kinda ended my friendship with my best friend.
