Plan B: Push into the deep end

Once at a pool party, there was this really pretty popular girl named Serena who was flirting with MY crush. I was like so totally furious! They were talking and laughing together the whole time, and everyone was like 'oh they would be so cute together' behind their backs. But I noticed when she was in the pool, she only swum in the shallow end. At first I thought she just didn't want to get her totally long auburn hair wet, but my friend told me the truth: she couldn't swim! Plan B was born. When she and my crush were busy flirting, I came up and "accidentally" tripped and fell, knocking her into the deep end! I thought she would just splash around and scream 'can't swim I can't swim', but instead, she screamed and went under! I was like so scared. My crush jumped in and rescued her and she was like so traumatized that she spent the rest of the night lying on a lounge chair with him by her side. I feel so bad that I put her life in danger, and also that my crush had the opportunity to be her 'knight in shining armor.' All I got from him was the 'you should have been more careful' lecture.
