He loves you, he loves you not. How can you tell if your crush is crushin' on you? Here are some sure-fire signs that he's into you-guaranteed to work better than plucking flower petals!
You've got a crush and suddenly you're acting like an alien from Planet No Shame: You tell a funny story in an extra-loud voice when he's nearby; you get decked out for soccer because you know he'll be on the sidelines; you casually walk by his house (hourly!) to make sure his ex-girlfriend isn't hanging around. Forget friends and homework, you can't concentrate on anything but your guy. Does he feel the same way about you? Find out your status with him. Here's how...
look at his body language
When you like a guy, do you sometimes flip your hair around? Cliché, right? A lot of girls do it. It's called "preening" and even animals do it to attract a mate! Just like getting goose bumps when you hear an eerie story, it's an automatic reaction. You know what it means, but you can't control it! Guys do stuff like that, too! Look for the "I like you" signs boys send. (Really, scientists study this stuff and it's called kinesics.) Start with a quick body scan.
1. Are his toes turned toward you when you're talking to him?
If they are, then you could be the one for him. Everyone naturally tends to point their feet at people who interest them.
2. Same thing goes for his upper body.
His head might be facing elsewhere or maybe he's across the room talking to someone else, but if he notices you, he'll angle his body at you without even realizing it.
3. Check out his eyes.
When he looks you in the eye, his pupils (the black circles in the middle of his eyeballs) will get bigger if he likes you. It happens automatically when you see someone you're attracted to. Even if your guy knew this was happening, he couldn't control it.
