Barry B. Benson (Jerry Seinfeld), a bee, just graduated from college, and, unlike his bee brethren, doesn't want to work at the same old job for the rest of his life. So Barry, also anxious to get a peek at life outside the hive, takes a job as a pollen jock. That puts him in touch with humans, where he quickly learns that we humans are selling honey and taking the profits for ourselves. This horrifies Barry, and, on behalf of his fellow bees, he decides to sue the honey industry. Sounds funny? It IS! If you imagine Seinfeld as an animated comedy, with the characters as bees instead of humans, you've pretty much got this charming film, which is sweet, hilarious, packed with one-liners and clever quips, though, unlike most episodes of Seinfeld, there's a healthy dose of heart packed into the Bee Movie storyline, too. It's a great movie for family night!
