Hot: Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal. They've been spotted together on several datelike outings lately.
Not: Mandy Moore and DJ AM. They're dunzo.

TV SHOW
Hot: Lost! Jack and Claire are siblings! Jack may have been brainwashed by The Others! We're about to find out how Locke ended up in the wheelchair! The show hasn't been this good since the first season.
Not: Heroes, but only because it's in repeats till next month!

SONG
Hot: Elliott Yamin's debut single, "Wait for You." The best R&B ballad in ages.
Not: "Glamorous" by Fergie. It's playing even more on the radio this week than it was last week, and I was already tired of it then!

GOSSIP
Hot: Sanjaya on American Idol. He's a sweet guy, but he can't carry a tune and has none of that "star quality" past winners have had. How is he still there?
Not: Simon Cowell is too mean when he judges people on AI. Simon is Simon, and let's be honest: Most of the time, even when he's being rude in how he says it, what he says is pretty right on.
