We Miley-philes have long been stumped by one of the lyrics in her song See You Again. You know, the part where she sings "You ask what's wrong with me/My best friend Lesley said, 'Oh, she's just being Miley.'"

Well, thanks to the geniuses at Entertainment Weekly magazine, who left no stone unturned to find out, we now know.

Here's what they say:

Lesley Patterson has known Miley since the two met as 6-year-old cheerleaders in Tennessee. And, [Lesley's] mother works for Miley's godmother, frequent "Hannah Montana" guest star, Dolly Parton.
