On Tuesday, the day after we found out that Zac Efron and his castmates will return for HSM: 3, he was rushed from the Los Angeles set of his new movie, Seventeen, to Cedars-Sinai hospital. Why? His appendix burst!

The 20-year-old's publicist confirmed the news, saying, "It's true, he had his appendix out and now he's recuperating."

No word as to when he'll be back on set.
