According to US magazine, Vanessa Hudgens will be back as Gabriella in the upcoming third installment of High School Musical, and sources say that she'll receive a "substantial increase" in pay.

HSM3 is going to be a big-screen release and is set to begin principal photography in January.

There’s Something About Ashley: The Story of Headstrong will hit stores next Tuesday, November 13! With this special-edition DVD, fans have the chance to see the complete story of Headstrong, as well as behind-the-scenes footage of Ashley recording her album and growing up on tour. The DVD will also contain a three-song trilogy featuring songs from Headstrong, including "He Said She Said," "Not Like That," and "Suddenly." Ashley has been busy promoting the DVD with a cross-country mall tour sponsored by Red by Marc Ecko.

Her video for "He Said, She Said" made it to number one on MTV’s TRL, and has reached more than 4 million viewers on YouTube. AOL Music will be giving a sneak peek of some exclusive footage from the DVD leading up to its release next week. Ashley will be guest blogging HERE for the entire week, introducing a new clip every day. The first clip showcases her hectic and exciting photo shoot for the album.
