According to reports close to the scene, the plan to get her back under observation had been set in motion the moment she was released from UCLA last time. A source told People.com that "Something like this has been in the works since the [last time]. She has been seeing her psychiatrist every day. No one thought this would happen this soon, but it was clear if she stayed up for more than three days she'd have to get sent, since that could cause real damage. The last time she slept was Saturday."
Brit left her home at roughly 1 a.m. Thursday surrounded, of course, by police escorts, who made every attempt to keep the paps away from the scene.
Brit's mom, Lynne, with whom she's been reportedly attempting a reconciliation, was in the house, as was her friend Ali Simms and pal Sam Lutfi.
According to published reports, her dad joined Lutfi at the hospital once she'd arrived.
