"I've known for years that I've had a deviated septum," Tisdale told People magazine. And, because the problem was so severe that it interfered with her breathing, she decided to have it and the rest of her twice-fractured nose (she was in a car wreck and was hit in the face once while dancing) fixed.
But don't think for a moment that Ash was psyched to get a new nose. She tells People that she "never wants to have plastic surgery again. I don't believe in plastic surgery. I really think natural is more beautiful. This was not about changing me. I am comfortable with myself."
Britney's little sister, star of Nickelodeon's Zoey 101, tells OK! magazine that the news was a shock to her and her live-in boyfriend (they both live with her mom), Casey Aldridge.
"I definitely don't think [premarital sex] is something you should do; it's better to wait," she told the magazine. "But I can't be judgmental because it's a position I put myself in."
Jamie Lynn, who is 12 weeks along, says that she plans to raise the baby in Louisiana so it can "have a normal life." Yeah, it clearly worked for her and Britney NOT!
As for plans for her show, Nickelodeon released a statement: "We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well-being."
Zoey 101 will end its third season on January 4 with a cliff-hanger episode that has Zoey deciding whether to leave Pacific Coast Academy or join her parents in London. Or, get knocked up and raise a baby in Louisiana. (JK.)
