: I think you're just self-conscious about your braces. I felt the same way when I had braces. But after awhile they become part of who you are and nobody notices them. I don't think that a girl having braces would stop a guy from kissing her. It's possible that there is another reason your boyfriend hasn't kissed you yet. Maybe he feels shy or picks up on your reserved behavior. The only way to find out what's behind his behavior is to ask him. A kiss is a sign of affection. If his reason for not kissing you is because you have braces, then he's probably not the type of guy you want to be kissing.
