Sit down with your parents, and discuss this situation. It can be hard for parents to see their daughter dating a person who is significantly older. Your parents are looking out for your best interest. They just don't want to see you get hurt. Sneaking around behind their backs is not the solution. It sounds like you already are feeling guilty about doing so. Lying and deception is not the answer. While parents and teens don't always agree, it's important for you to try to better understand where they're coming from.
